Neil Richardson Architecture

Our mission is to design buildings that bring delight to their owners. Creating spaces that enrich peoples lives, are enjoyable and where people feel comfortable and secure, is what we strive to achieve.

Our firm serves the Southern Willamette Valley, including Corvallis, Eugene and Salem. We offer design services in three main areas: civic, commercial and residential.

Civic-community centers, city offices, libraries, and museums.
The Philomath Scout Lodge is currently under construction. This 10,000 sf community building will provide a multi-function faciltiy for young people as well as a place for special occasions.

Commercial - retail, office and light manufacturing.
Our background in office building design gives us the skills to develop excellent designs in this area. Projects include buildings from 10,000 to 200,000 sf with multiple tenants.

Residential-Remodels, additions and new construction.
Our goal is to design homes that are in harmony with their environment. See two of our residential projects in the gallery. Additionally, the restoration of a 100 year old home in Corvallis is nearing completion.

Current Project: Contemporary Villa

View the ProjectThis two story 5200 SF home is located literally on top of the world with a 180 degree view of the Willamette Valley. The home was designed to take best advantage of the view with large windows in all rooms and an outdoor deck off the second story game room. The home has three bedrooms, a library, a game room and office.

Current Project: Courtyard Home

View the ProjectThis 3,000t SF single level home with three bedrooms and three full baths has a public wing and residential wing that form an "L". The full courtyard is completed by placing the garage so it completes the 'U". The principal feature of the public space is a "conservatory" or "glass-box" that faces south into the courtyard. Folding 8' glass doors when fully open create a true indoor/outdoor feeling.
